THE BLACK SUN FESTIVAL * SEPTEMBER 12th - 14th of 2003
Special Notice
THE BLACK SUN 2003, SEPTEMBER 12th - 14th... weekend after the full moon
LOCATION.... about 20 minutes SE of Portland, Oregon.
*
The Farm for 2003
*
There are over 50 acres of which we have access too, but there are rules to the area. All camping will be in a large adjacent field. The forested space has paths that walk through it... along side of which will be little areas/sanctuaries for which to hang out in, but we can not make new paths through the woods, nor do they want us disrupting the natural/untouched forest.
There will be two areas that performances and the like go on. During the day there is a stage area for the bands, etc. and a lot for vendors and fire performers, etc.
During the night (after 10pm) there are two shelters that we take over, one is is for visual art, djs and the like.
The other location is in a shelter space which remindes me of walking into a David Lynch film... and is where the live bands and dance Djs will be located.
No dogs are allowed at the event as there are several horses and farm dogs on the location. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed to enter the Black Sun Festival without an accompaning adult who has proof of legal guardianship.

paypall.com/send money
Click on the link in the upper left hand corner of the page that says "see demo".
You will also need to sign up with paypal to send money.
When addressing the payment, use the email cypher_sothis@tm.net.
There is also the options of sending a money order... if you want to rely on ground mail, but I would suggest doing that earlier rather then later, as ground mail is a time consuming rout, and we can not be responsible for their delays, though we will keep record of all names that have payed.
All paypall users will also need to print their reciepts.
When you go through paypall, it is your responsibility to print out your receipt of payment from paypall... you must bring that copy as proof along with ID to prove your identity. If you are mailed a ticket, it is imperative that you do
not loose that ticket, and that once again you bring that ticket to the event for admission along with ID.

shops will be announced soon.

It is of utmost importance that all who attend the gathering are respectful of the land and its inhabitants. Consideration for neighbors near the land and inhabitants of the county is also essential. We want our hosts to feel comfortable and at ease with the people of the BLack Sun, so that we may continue to use the land offered. These are beautiful land areas, and we only want those who are considerate of its fruition and vitality to attend the festival.
